1.  What is Artleby?

 

Artleby is an online resource for artists and their customers.

 

Artist members get a personalized website with their own URL (e.g. www.artleby.biz/yourname).  They

can upload up to 50 images, customize their site with a background color of their choice, sort their work into

different portfolios if they wish (e.g. "Drawings", "Paintings"), post their resume or artist statement and updates

about exhibitions, etc.

 

 

 

2.  How much does a membership with Artleby cost?

 

Members have a choice of either $5.00/month recurring payment or $52.00/year recurring payment.

 

 

 

3.  How are sales of artwork  managed?

 

Visitors who wish to purchase artwork contact the artist through a secure interface provided by Artleby. 

The transaction is solely between the artist and buyer, and Artleby takes no commission on any sales

of artwork.  The artist's email address remains private until he/she discloses it to the buyer.

 

 

 

4.  Can I accept credit cards?

 

Yes, Paypal provides account options that allow you  to accept credit cards even if the buyer doesn't have

5.  Will Artleby ever share my email address?

 

No.

 

 

 

6.  Does Artleby assume title to any artwork?

 

No.

 

 

 

7.  Can I cancel my account at anytime?

 

Yes.
